On Pappy’s 77 Acre Wood, hiking trails are available to trek upon through the mountains. The trails are easy to follow. We have a lot of wildlife around the cabin such as: deer, turkey, squirrels, hawks, owls, woodpeckers and many other small animals and birds. Please remember, our trails are for walking/hiking only. We don’t allow ATVs on our trails, but don’t let that discourage you, there’s plenty of trails nearby to satisfy your group. Did I mention that your family will be the only folks on the trails?

Our forest is full of natural vegetation found all over West Virginia. From giant Oak trees, Hickory and Walnut, to black berries and wild flowers. The forest is full of nature for you to enjoy and did we mention? Your group is the ONLY group on the property!
